This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of bookings made through our website or directly with our team. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations regarding refunds.

1. General Refund Principles

Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our travel partners. The following general principles apply:

2. Cancellation and Refund Schedule

The following refund schedule applies to standard bookings, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation:

3. Special Booking Types

3.1 Non-Refundable Bookings

Some bookings are offered at special discounted rates and are explicitly marked as "Non-Refundable" at the time of booking. These bookings cannot be refunded under any circumstances, except as required by applicable law.

3.2 Flexible Bookings

"Flexible" bookings offer more generous cancellation terms, typically allowing free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled service. The specific terms will be provided at the time of booking.

3.3 Group Bookings

Group bookings (defined as bookings for 10 or more people) are subject to special cancellation terms, which will be provided in writing at the time of booking.

3.4 Custom Tours and Packages

Custom-designed itineraries and packages may have different cancellation policies depending on the specific services included. These terms will be clearly communicated before booking confirmation.

4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

4.1 Force Majeure

In case of force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control), we will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis and strive to offer the most flexible solutions possible, which may include:

In case of documented serious medical emergencies that prevent travel, we may offer more flexible refund terms or credit for future travel. Documentation from a medical professional will be required.

4.3 Travel Advisories

If an official government travel advisory against travel to your destination is issued after booking, we will work with you to find a suitable solution, which may include postponement, alternative destinations, or refunds.

5. Partial Cancellations and Changes

5.1 Cancellation of Part of an Itinerary

If you cancel only a portion of a multi-service booking, refunds will only apply to the canceled portion and will follow the refund schedule above.

Requests to change travel dates are subject to availability and may incur the following fees:

Name changes on bookings may be permitted subject to a £25 administrative fee per name change. Some services (particularly flights) may have stricter policies regarding name changes.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days from the approval date. However, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

6.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking. If this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method.

6.3 Partial Services

If you have already used some services in your booking package before cancellation, the value of those services will be deducted from any refund amount.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage. Travel insurance can provide financial protection in many circumstances where our standard refund policy would not apply.

European Adventures can assist in arranging appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking.

8. Complaints and Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly calculated or denied, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 30 days of receiving the refund decision.

We will investigate all complaints and aim to resolve them within 14 business days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly.

Any bookings made prior to a policy change will be subject to the policy that was in effect at the time of booking.
